PIANO BUDDIES GROUP LESSONS
A fun and motivating way to learn to play piano… with friends! Learn together, play together, inspire each other!
Piano Buddies is a fun alternative to traditional one on one lessons. It’s lessons for two to four students, grades K – 6, at the same time. Every week for 45 minutes, students learn together, play the piano together, play games together… it’s so much fun! It’s the perfect place for friends to learn to play piano, especially for those who are a little shy and may find one on one lessons with a teacher intimidating. Piano buddies must be close in age and the same level of piano.
BENEFITS OF PIANO BUDDIES
Students have the opportunity to develop skills in diverse, fun ways i.e. rhythm activities, duets, games etc.
Students stimulate, energize & motivate each other so they often progress more quickly. They hear questions and comments from their friends, and can learn from each other.
Students get to experience the fun of playing with other pianists. They have more opportunities to gain performance experience, and express themselves through the sharing of their music.
Students develop a strong sense of internal pulse & rhythm from consistently playing with others. They also develop their ear and the ability to focus on their own part while at the same time hearing and responding to others playing around them.
Students learn and experience teamwork in a friendly and encouraging atmosphere. Students grow by helping others.
