A fun alternative to traditional one on one lessons, Piano Buddies group classes are piano lessons for children grades K – 6, in groups of two to four. Students have fun together, inspire each other and learn in a friendly and encouraging atmosphere.

Sarah’s Studio welcomes our newest piano teacher, Emily Pynn!
Emily Pynn is a music student entering her second year at Memorial University of Newfoundland, studying the piano. She has been playing piano for over 15 years and is an award-winning instrumentalist, notably winning the 2022 Kiwanis Junior Instrumental Rose Bowl. She has lots of experience with both Royal Conservatory of Music and Conservatory Canada exams, and has completed several Royal Conservatory theory exams with first class honours. Emily is very excited to start as a music theory and piano teacher at Sarah’s Studio in the fall and cannot wait to share her love for music making with each child!
MEET SARAH
Certified piano instructor in Paradise
Sarah Miller is a Royal Conservatory of Music certified piano teacher. She has been playing piano since the age of seven and has over 35 years of experience teaching music, theory and piano lessons. She has been teaching piano lessons in Paradise, Newfoundland since 2005.
Fun piano lessons for children
Sarah loves to share her enthusiasm and passion for music. She has a very balanced approach to teaching and uses a basic structure of learning while keeping lessons relaxed, flexible and fun. She loves working with children, getting to know their individual personalities and aptitudes, and tailoring their musical journey to suit their interests.
Sarah believes the goal of lessons is to help each student appreciate and love many types of music and become skilled music makers. She has seen many students reach this goal, and would love to take you on this exciting fun journey of learning!
